Now I have new Post About my EXPERIENCE.
I've traveled more than 500 Km way from Yogyakarta Lempuyagan Station to Jakarta Pasar Senen Station. on January 22nd 2014. but for now, I'm not traveling by Plane, bus or even 1st class train. I'm travelling by 3rd Class Train. Beside that its the cheapest way to travel.
This Train Named Progo Economy. Means the train is only service in Economy Class.
The Train took 9 hrs 30 minutes long. It's missed from the estimated schedule 8 hrs 20 minutes.
The train schedule for departure at 15.30, and the estimated arrival would be at 23.40.
And real time schedule arrival at 1.00 23rd January 2014. The delay caused by the congestion high traffic Railway at the crossing line, because the railway isn't no longer double track.
I get on this train because I was out of my budget, I was expend my budget for Campus task this Semester. the other think is to save my budget for my next holiday kills....
I made a reservation one day before via Online at www.kereta-api.co.id the site only use Bahasa, but the interface is pretty well to known therefore its the simple way to get the ticket. After Input you name, ID number, Phone number and your Favorite seat. You have to make a payment within 2 hours after reservation, Payment methods by the Credit cards or pay from the Local ATM.
Progo Economy train service today installed by the Aircon each coach ceiling. The Old one refer to Open window. This new service established since 2012 by PT. Kereta Api Indonesia to prevent the sun heat and avoid the perking rain from the windows. Each coaches installed by 6 (Household) A/C with the 3 - 2 row sitter. However the Interior is not the Lavish one.
During the way, I only talks with another passenger next to my seat, and Seeing out the window. unfortunately its a night train, I can not see any distance view.. all swallowed by the blackout. then I played the mp3s, I played games on tablet to flush away bored. I can not sleep even I fell asleep because the seat isn't adjustable. the seat back is very up-right. So they would sleep like this.
However I enjoyed this Progo Economy Train beside the Cheapest fare only IDR85000, meals and refreshments on-board need extra cost but stand in Cheapest rates.
and I'm not mention the lavish facilities on-board such as Curtain, Larger Window, and Time. I only need transport for Home. Hahaha.. That's in Jakarta!
